Bee Beautiful with Eucerin Crème

I was on the look for a cream to help me reduce my breakout near my chin area which is where I tend to get a lot of spots some which hurt a lot and some small ones which just tend to grow in a line for some reason!
I had tried the usual suspects for creams to stop spots such as freedom which worked well but left my skin drier than ever.

I looked around boots and was really confused about which product to test and which one will be good as I was tired of trying lots of different products over and over again. So I asked the skincare expert who works in boots and told her about my problems with spots and the fact that I get dry skin here and there even after I put my make up on!

She gave me a small tester tube to take home and try out:

It was a acne crème from the brand Eucerin and I was a bit apprehensive at first to try this out because I never heard of the brand before, but the skin care expert assured me that this brand was really good and highly recommended than the other brands out there. So I thought lets do this and try it out!

I did my usual skin care routine and the applied the crème, my skin absorbed the crème straight away and didn't have a strong smell to it at all, the colour was green and it smelt fresh.

I have used it all now and I must say I have noticed a huge difference, my spots have died down and they haven't come back (touch wood) it  has left my skin feeling soft and fresh too which is an added bonus!

She also gave me a sun protection crème, now I never thought of using this crème here in the UK! knowing our weather! but she said that any sunlight can effect our skin pigmentations and because I have started to notice some uneven skin tone she quickly told me to try this:

I have used it one and off as to when I thought the sun will be out all day and I haven't noticed an effect but I am sure it will gradually change my skin tone and protect my skin tone from the sunshine (if we get any)!

Asos Haul

Bee Beautiful with ASOS

So one day I thought I would go online and check out what ASOS had as I was looking for a floppy hat which was in my Wishlist #1 post. I found a few and some were expensive, I then came across a hat which I really liked but was wary as I didn't know how it would look and if it would be bigger than in the picture or smaller. I think that's the one thing which is not good about online shopping especially from ASOS as you don't know if the item is going to live up to your expectations when it arrives.

I then looked for some shoes as I really wanted some geek t bar shoes (again in my wish list#1) and I did find some but my size was out of stock which was annoying! When you really wanted something and you are like "yes I can afford that" and then BAAM the size is out of stock, so I then had a look at some sandals and came across the sandals from my summer loving Wishlist but these were ASOS branded and it only cost me £10.00! which is cheaper than what TOPSHOP are selling them for, granted they are not the same but hey ho!

At this point I thought I will end up buying my Wishlist! but I couldn't find the right jeans which was a shame, I thought I should at least check out the dresses and I came across this skater style dress and I fell in love, the print was eye catching and was relieved when my size was in stock so that went straight into my bag! I kept looking at the other dresses but didn't really like anything else.

After around about half an hour later I decided to stop and go to the checkout! I ordered my hat which cost me £20.00, the sandals which cost me £10.00 and the dress was also £19.99 but I only paid £37.49!
Why? do you ask? Well there was a student special on with 25% off! Which was brilliant!

I like the fact that ASOS has a lot of offers on a bit like Dorothy Perkins with the Fashion Event, it is always great when you find a cheap alternative to a product you have always wanted and it is even better when you get some money off too at the checkout.
I didn't really have an outfit planned with the dress hat and sandals but together they go really well! I can also pair the dress with some boots too and the hat can be worn with several outfits.
The sandals can be worn with maxi dresses and jeans! I am really happy with my purchase from ASOS!

Happy Bargain Hunter over here!!

Bee Beautiful with Boots Hair Serum

Apologies for the late upload of this post!
I went on the hunt for a hair serum that reduces the frizz in my hair but it doesn't make my hair look greasy too. I went into boots and looked around and all of the hair serum was really expensive and I tried some in my hand as well I don't know why but I tend to test every product I want to buy on my hand!

I was on the way out and walked past this little beauty! At first I thought okay its between £2-3 pounds and it does look good so I thought I would try it on my hand first, I think I then bit the bullet and said yes lets just go for this one and that was a really good decision to make!

My hair was frizzy even when I used the straighteners on it and there was no shine to my hair even though I tried vast amounts of shampoos and conditioners and even hair oil to give my hair just a small amount of shine.

I tried this serum on damp hair and only used a small amount and I just gently massaged it into my hair it didn't really make a difference at first and I knew it would take time for it to work properly, am I right?

I used it every day just because I wanted to see if it would actually work and by day 9 I would say, my hair felt silkier and the frizz had gone too my hair used to get tangled quite easily because it is so long but ever since I have been putting this serum on from root to tip my hair doesn't tangle and it is a lot more easier to comb now too.

The shine! now this is what I was looking forward to the most the added shine! I so badly wanted because I was tired of dry lifeless rough hair (yes I might sound like a TV advert at the moment)! but I honestly just wanted my hair to feel nice and look nice.

I would say I got the shine I wanted, I had compliments from family and friends that have said my hair looks more healthier and shiny than usual which was brilliant. I can see a huge change in my hair which is what I wanted and the best thing about the serum is that it doesn't cost you a lot!

This serum will be on my list from now!

Monochrome Monday

  Bee Beautiful with Monochrome

So I brought a plain black jumpsuit from Dorothy Perkins and thought it will be fun to dress it up, I found it difficult as it was so lovely on its own. However I paired it with the tassel kimono that I got from Primark and a leather sleeve jacket from Warehouse.

I also thought my Warehouse bag from years ago will go great with this look! I was confused about which shoes will look good with this outfit and I then saw these shoes from London Rebel and thought it gave the outfit a sophisticated edge.

I love the fact that this jumpsuit can be paired with literally anything and it will always create a different look every time. I also had never used my bag in forever and was surprised how well it looked with this outfit, it goes to show that black and white is always a trend that will be going on for years!

During the evening swap the shorts with the smart black shorts and a pair of strappy heels and droplet earrings!

Primark Haul

Cheap buys from Primark!

On a shopping trip I was looking for a few items in my usual shops such as Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Vero Moda, Warehouse and New look and I couldn't find the items I wanted, however I wasn't really looking for something in particular, I just knew that if I seen something then I will know that its something that I wanted. If that makes sense!

Anyway moving along I went into Primark because they have some good stuff sometimes. I looked around and saw some dresses and found 2 which I thought were lovely and unique and I also found the kimono I was looking for too....

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it! The pattern is what attracted me to it firstly as it is such as bold print and the colours are summery and authentic. The material is so light and soft which will be perfect wearing it in the summer days! I will be wearing this on my holidays! I would pair this with some double buckle sandals and a floppy hat! It was only £8.00! Which was an absolute bargain, considering dresses similar to these are priced much higher than that.

Now I have been looking for a tassel kimono for ages!! I finally found one as I was leaving the store and I saw this on a dummy and immediately asked the sales assistant where it was, she came back with one in her hand saying it was the last one and asked me my size and said you are in luck! As crazy as this sounds I was actually really happy! As I was trying this on a woman approached me asking me where I picked this up from and literally ripped it off the dummy as soon as I said there was non left.
The material is again soft and the tassels have a good finish at the end, the net effect is done really well and it doesn't pull if caught on something. The colour practically goes with anything and everything and I am glad that there was a white one instead of a black one as I believe the a white kimono looks clean and goes well with everything.
The best thing about this is that it was only £7.00! Which was fantastic!

This skater dress stood out for me because of the pattern and again the colours made it look different from all the other dresses. The material is again light and perfect for the summer days. It is a casual dress but a pair it with some heels and it can easily be worn for a night out for dinner. Again
it was only £8.00 a right bargain!

I was very pleased with my shopping trip at Primark even though I didn't think I would actually find anything in there! Its surprising how you can find things and at such bargain prices too!

Lets just say I will make Primark my first store to go into and then check out the rest!!

Eye Liners!

Eye Liner Review

I have tried and tested a lot of eye liners and I found it hard to stick to one brand and one type of eye liner. Some eye liners were too wet to use and made a mess of my eyes and others had a thick brush which meant I couldn't get the straight line I wanted.

I am going to share with you my reviews on these eye liners, starting with the No.7 liquid eye liner;

This eye liner was alright but I found the brush was difficult to navigate and it wouldn't stay on all day as it would just come off and become dry on my skin. I thought the brush element of this let the product down as it was not easy to hold. Overall I thought it was not the best eye liner I have tried and I haven't used it again.

The next one would be the MAC eye liner;

Now as naïve as I might sound I actually thought that MAC will have a good eye liner as nearly all of their products are highly recommended, but I was disappointed with this eye liner as it was too wet even when I used a really small amount. The brush was too stern to use which made the eyeliner smudge. It wasn't the best brush to use when producing that straight line!

The next eye liner will be the Maybelline Liner Express;

Which is in my top 2 of eye liners as it has the perfect slim brush and the liner itself is not to wet and has a silk effect to it, now these eye liners are hard to get hold of as I think they are being replaced.

My favourite and relevant purchase eye liner is the Barry M gel pot eye liner and brush;

Now this eye liner comes in a little pot and its firm yet silky and doesn't dry out as quickly as other eye liners. The brush is on the small side but still creates the perfect line as the brush is really small. The good thing about this is that you can change the brush and use a special eye liner brush.
The only down side is that it is really tough to take off! I tried wet wipes, eye makeup remover the lot! but it is very stubborn and requires a lot of scrubs to get it all off!

All in all I would say that the two trusted brands that I thought would give me a good quality eye liner ended up disappointing me and I used other brands such as Maybelline and Barry M which ultimately gave me a really decent eye liner.

Comment below and let me know if you have used any of these eye liners or if there is an eye liner that I should try!
